Vermont 100k

Postby ngcaper » Sun Nov 10, 2013 8:56 am

Looking for anyone who's ran this or the 100m option. Just looking for any insight/feedback etc. Its an option for next year I'm heavily leaning towards.

Hey NGCaper. Dawn Hamel from Orillia, Ontario ran the Vermont 100K this year and I believe she shaved 2 hours off the woman's record. Not bad considering Dawn is in her 50's! I could ask Dawn to connect with you if you want.

Thanks Spirit, I hadn't found SherpaJohn's blog in my searches...strange as I'd found a number of them. I did meet/run with a guy last week that ran this race as well, his comment was similar, the heat/humidity is killer...thankfully it's something that typically does not bother me much.

Anyone from RM run this? I be interested to here if you liked the event or not...lots of dirt roads and hills I keep reading as well. I especially liked SherpaJohn's elevation profile link...lovely :)
