I managed to get 1.5 miles on the treadmill. :D I realize that's barely a warm up for most of you, but it was the 3rd run in the past week, which is a first in the 5 months since I tore my hamstring. The road back is long and slow. I do 5 min of running then 30 second walk break trying to go for 20 minutes. The walk/run pace works, the 30 seconds are just enough for me to catch my breath  I am now literally starting from the beginning, my conditioning is gone so I have to build that up as well as my leg.
I can barely break 7 min/km right now, anything faster tends to hurt the leg. It's funny, I've checked out the races upcoming in 2014, and I think hmm just maybe  but once I get on the treadmill, the reality sets in.

Switch to Karen the Aussie lady. She gives you twice as much (useful) info. Hard to believe but true.

oh, oh. :( Hope it's just a slight twist and you are back to normal soon.

I've got quite the cankle on that side  and it's sore, but the fact that I could run 10k on it must be a good sign. I hope.
