Week 3 Day 2 of C25K. Off to a bad start with a tech glitch with the app, made up for it with a good run in the last five minutes.

It was a busy weekend and I didn't run at all. It was hard to get out there this morning ... momentum really helps.

Woke up with a nasty headache, so instead of the intervals I had on tap I pushed that to tomorrow and did an easy paced 10K.

The best part of the run was seeing Venus rising over Brighton Bay- it was huge and bright- really beautiful.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Into April and I'm still ending my run with a face full of ice. Easy 14K done.

Started April with an easy 9 km on the indoor track. It was lovely weather for running outside, but after last night's spicy dinner, accompanied by wine and followed by ice cream (had to do something to mark surviving year end), I didn't trust my touchy digestion. Let's just say that was a good call, since the 9 km was supposed to be 10 km... Quads have loosened up quite a bit, which is good. But still busy...back to work for me.

Pool day for me - 1700m and felt pretty good. Hate that I had to scrape ice off my car before driving to the pool though!

10 mile trail run to start my day (yay!). The first half was a loop with a friend and was definitely tougher than the second half by myself. I am feeling a little whooped now lol!

I love that I am starting to get these 10-milers in during the week again (the last one was a couple of weeks ago but it's coming). It's an indicator to me that both my fitness and my mileage are increasing. :)

I finally made it to 5km. :D Last week I got to all clear from my physiotherapist, so I am good to run. I've been slowly getting back into it over the last month or so, starting with 15 minutes and going from there. This afternoon I pushed through to 5k on the treadmill. I haven't run that far since last summer.

9 km tempo run. The blizzard finally stopped and the sun came out. Dry roads but a ton of snow in the country. And lots of hawks.
