How are you all doing 3 days in?

I'm RSVP'd for Heather's potluck, Dave & Tim are you both going to be there as well Friday night?

Pretty good here. Tim and I are seeing a lot of each other on course. Lots of separation in the pack yesterday, looks like avoiding a 25 minute bonk-related slide in stages 3, 5 or 7 is as important as going quick when you are able.

I think I will be around Friday night but will confirm. At this point I plan to work in Mississauga post-race Friday so ideally would head back to Waterloo for the night.

What a fantastic event this is. Congrats to Tim, Dave and Heather for completing the Ultimate, you all rock. I only did 3 stages and my quads are trashed lol. I can't wait till I can try the ultimate and will definitely try to get back. Truly a great event. Hear that Ken has already registered for the ultimate for next year as well!

Thanks Robin. I'm signed up for a 100 mile race the weekend that it starts next year, although Maureen may have me convinced to do the Sport....we'll see how my 100 miler in January goes first! 2016 I plan on doing the Ultimate again (and not being last female!)

Will you be doing the Ultimate in 2015, Robin? I think it is at least 50/50 I register before the price increase tonight.

No I think I'll wait at least until 2016. I'm wanting to do my first 100 miler in 2015 and I want to concentrate on that. Plus it's hard with my daughter at her current age and would be easier the year after when she's a bit older. I'll definitely be back though, hopefully to do the Sport again.

Tim I'm strongly leaning towards Haliburton though I know it's a tough course. Maybe 50 at Sulphur in prep.... still undecided though but definitely want to tackle it in 2015 while I'm 50, for all kinds of reasons :)

See you back at Sulphur?

Great reports Robin! I'll check out the photos - with limbs flailing everywhere when I run, I need to channel my inner Doonst for a good photo...

Sorry about no report, Jon. At a high-level, I did OK on 5 of the 7 stages including a decent marathon to finish but got crushed on the two mountain stages, 4 and 5. I'm already registered to make amends next year...

I would love to go back to Sulphur. I'm still not sure what next year will bring. Haliburton might be a good one to try too (no 100 miler for me yet though). I'd love to go back to the ENDURrun again, but I'm not sure about 2015. There are so many other events around to explore.

It's been a great year for sure, a continuation of last year. Up until the ENDURrun marathon, every race of 2013-2014 was a PB for me! And I think I'm ok with being three minutes short of a PB there. 8)

You should consider a rested road marathon, Tim. I suspect it might bring a 12-20 minute PB.

Who's in for 2015??

I registered for the Sport again (not enough residual vacation days/daycare to do the whole week). Anyone else on board for the Sport...anyone, anyone, Hezzy.... :) (I know Ken and Dave in for Ultimate), not sure who else is in.

This is great, Robin! While a record-sized firld already, perhaps just the three of us from RM this far. But Ibwould expect that Hezzy and Tim will be taking part at some point during the week.

I have Beast 100 the same weekend it starts, but I hope to participate in some capacity. At the very least I will volunteer for one or more stage. I can't miss hanging out with my Endur family :)
