Racing This Weekend

Postby Jogger Barbie » Fri May 01, 2015 8:54 am

Good morning!

Between working so much for the first four months of this year, and being in London for an extended long weekend, I feel completely out of touch.

Who is racing this weekend, and where? Inquiring minds want to know; they also like stalking results. :)

Good luck to everyone!

Racing This Weekend

Postby Jwolf » Fri May 01, 2015 9:10 am

A few of us are doing BMO Vancouver. MaryMac is doing the full marathon and RobW and I are doing the half. Not sure about anyone else?

My plan is to do it as a training run or just a bit faster, because I need to be able to recover and run Red Deer half in two weeks. :)

Good luck to everyone else racing.

Jes for sure in Miss full but I think Andy is out? And there is at least one person who I think I doing the half?

I'm running Mississauga full this weekend to, though not sure if it'll be a run or a race yet. No pressure which is great.

Spectating at Good Life.

Starting at the RR next door to my place then headed down to the finish. Going to be a spectacular day - bit warm though! (Can't believe I'm saying that....)

Jes will racing the marathon this Sunday in Mississauga and, at this point, I will be downgrading to the half marathon, if I even run at all now .. :? :(

I am running an event called YMCA strong kids race in Calgary tomorrow. It is a 5km/10km event. I think you can still register for the event at Eau Claire YMCA in the morning before 9.00am

I've spotted lightning and Jes on the Mississauga course. Unfortunately I missed robin and I'm not at a half marathon spot.
