Moist Monday . . .

Postby NMG » Mon Sep 07, 2015 8:51 am

Around 11K for me this morning at a very slow pace. It's another humid day here in Ottawa and I was bagged by the end of my run today even with the slower pace. My lungs were not liking the thick air this morning. Still good to get out though :)

Run walk with the baby and dog. Glad it's over

Cross training. 1 hour on the elliptical and a 15 minute sworkit workout. Thanks scrummy for putting me on to that app! I love it!

Nice run out past Cherry Beach. It was going well so I thought, Why not keep going for another km or two? So I did. And probably shouldn't have, because I was starting to get pretty wrung out on the way back! I stopped for a couple of minutes at Sherbourne Common for a good rehydration! Total 11.6 km. Beautiful day, though.

Shins complained that I ran too far on Saturday, so I biked the MGT West to the Butterfly preserve and back East to The Beach. Not timing it or anything, just easy and steady. Maybe a run in the morning.

Very short jog around rice lake to test out my ankle. Including walk to/from the car the whole workout was 3km. Ankle feels pretty good. A bit tender at the beginning but it improved as I went so that is a good sign. Do not have full range of motion so I will keep working on that. Felt good to get off my ass. :)

It rained here last night so it was humid in the morning too, but very cool. It felt great after the Florida heat. I was up early because of the adjustment back to pacific time, so I left just after 6- I almost needed gloves at the beginning of my run.

16K done in 1:43-- longest run since the half in May.
