I used to read Runner's World, but every January issue seemed to be "New Year, New You!" and that got tiring after a while. I prefer CR's Canadian focus.

I read your article and recognized it was you right off....Well done!!

Thanks!

I agree, Marathon & Beyond is the only subscription I keep.

I want to love Canadian Running but there are too many head-scratching articles, here's one today:

http://runningmagazine.ca/who-won-toronto-marathon/

"According to various reports from Sportstats and other race participants, Araso started the race several minutes late (some say by at least two minutes)."

Wait, didn't you just explain chip to gun time (as the point of the article) and its three minute offset? Why did eyewitnesses interpret that for you?
I am fortunate to have Running Free as a sponsor. I like to keep silly stats and maps of my Daily Neighbourhood Tours, Races and Marathons run in a Silly Yellow Shirt.

Never heard of this one...cuz I don't have enough Running Magazines lol.

I like them all, but think Canadian Running is more relevant sometimes. I also like Women's Running.

That is the one for all those ultra-nuts, if I recall ... :shifty:

The content is marathons and beyond, the latter is ultras, multisport races that include marathons and multiday races.

Yes, TV Guide-sized, bound like a book, six issues annually. No gear ads. Really.

I subscribed to this when I was in Chicago in 2013 and have been receiving it ever since. I really like it...way longer stories and more content.

Sadly, the final issue of Marathon & Beyond is now on the newsstand.

Yeah that was sad. I subscribe. They are shifting my remaining months to Ultrarunning Magazine which is ok, but I'll Miss M&B.

I have the subscription for Runner's World and I buy the other magazines as well.

Running Times is my favourite because I think they have the best articles. The downside is that they are more expensive to subscribe.

Aw, nuts! I didn't know that! I prefer RT very strongly to RW. I like serious stuff about serious athletes. If I want a cooking magazine, I buy a cooking magazine. Well, at least there's still CR, which is pretty good and not as fluffy.
Marathons: 1; 30k: 2; Half marathons: 6; Shorter: Um, I've lost track
PBs: Half-marathon: 1:35:32; 5K: 19:54 (both 2012)
