Shorts Tuesday

Postby Habs4ever » Tue Dec 20, 2016 12:01 pm

Almost shorts weather this morning. 13k done in -2 and sunny. I wanted to get out before the strong Chinook winds came again.

No chance of shorts here this morning! I think it was around -10 when I went out.

9K done, with most of it on snow covered pathways in the greenbelt. Some of it was packed down fairly well, but other parts were pretty soft and unstable. Good leg workout for sure.

I used to wear shorts down to -10, in which case this morning would have been a good day for that. Instead, I sweated through 14K underneath a couple layers of clothing and a thickening layer of body fat.

It's 8C and partly sunny so definitely shorts weather here. My neighbourhood sidewalks are pretty much clear of snow. 9.5k done.

Actually, it was you I was thinking of when I was out running, wondering if your weather was as good as here and if you'd be in shorts.

6 miles outside for me. A bit slippy on the sidewalks at times, but otherwise pretty good, -2c with just ab it of wind, I'll take it!
