Weak Wednesday

Cause that's how it feels. Back to the gym for the first time in long time. 30 min walk and a round of weights

I was a near cripple after getting back in to the weight room last Friday with a new program to boot.

Just a bike trainer workout on tap for today.

Weak Wednesday is right!

I haven't run in over a week, though the sidewalks are finally starting to clear thanks to the warm weather.

Ended up in the ER again yesterday so I will take today easy...

my goal of 100km for December is definitely not happening.

Yes I'm ok, thanks. Just tired today so I didn't stray too far from home.

This time I only had one so the recovery seems better--last time I had two in one day and that was a lot harder on me. Today I just feel tired and emotional and I have a crazy kink in my neck. And bruises on both hands from the IV needles (nasty). They stuck SIX holes in me yesterday... two in the hands, three in the arms, one finger prick.

The night before I had only slept about 3 hours, and the ER doctor thinks that's probably what triggered it--and NOT the wine I had. It's good news in that both he and my neuro have said it's ok for me to drink wine, but if sleeplessness was the trigger that's a bad thing because I can't control that. :/

We'll see what my neuro says when I see him next.

Anyway, NRR, but one more excuse for not having run yet this week. :P Will see how the next couple of days go. Saturday I'm supposed to run with one of my groups but I may end up walking if I'm not feeling up to it.

For my wife, sleep is definitely the key. One reason she is on a disability pension is that there are certain days that if she were not to sleep into 10 am or so, she would suffer a seizure. And the ironic thing is because some of her drugs to stop seizures, she cannot go to sleep at a normal hour and thus contributes to her seizures. Stroke lights, a lack of a good supper can also be triggers. And as I have found over the years, there are the seizures that just happen for no reason. Best of luck with this issue.
