Have a great 50k race Ian. I'm sure your pacee will appreciate your pacing efforts.

Combo day but no 50K for me. Strength & stretch routine this morning, 5K walk this afternoon and then 3.2K "hard" run.

Walking, Yoga, Soccer scrimmages and whatever else I can do
Hip replacement on September 10....now doing a variation of the None to Run plan

We negative split an ultra (?!), basically easy-ish pace (5:00/K), ending up around 4:13. The 42K mark was almost an unofficial marathon PB for him.

I can't even do a marathon in that time, let alone 50k!

4.75 miles for me. Been sick for the last 2 weeks so it was good to get out there for a little run.
