Calf stretches
Calf stretches
Does anyone know any good calf stretches that DON'T also stretch the Achilles? I want to avoid over-stretching the tendon, but feel like my calves need a good stretch.

Re: Calf stretches
Not sure if that's possible but you could roll out the calves with a rolling pin, the Stick, or a foam roller?

Rolling pin or a lacrosse ball would be best. It's REALLY hard to roll out your calves with a foam roller. Get K to roll them with your rolling pin...

Re: Calf stretches
The Physio I see showed me a great way to work the calves using your knee.
Just lean against your couch or chair and use your knee to massage the muscles. The knee can get in deep between the muscles and for me this works better than rolling or lacrosse ball.

I find this great and it doesn’t take any room in your suitcase when you travel.
