Janus - Eyesore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SMD76Hji9o

from the album Red Right Return. The whole album is pretty good but this is my favourite.

Jay-Z's "On to the Next One' has a great running beat. It was fantastic during my run today! I also totally love the new Alicia Keys song "Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart". I might get the album actually- I loved her last one and I love pretty much anything she puts out.

I love that Rhianna song "Hard" but I guess it's not released yet- I can't get it on itunes. They shouldn't play music on the radio for months that you can't yet get.

I don't love Rihanna, but that song is definitely on iTunes (and I found it on piratebay).

Her name is spelled R-I-H...

That's funny- I had spelled her name wrong but it pulled up all her other albums and older singles (corrected the spelling for me I guess). I just found that song, though. Thanks!

new song: Hawksley Workman's "Dance to Yesterday". Can't wait to add it.

And here's another song I've been listening to on runs lately called I'm Running:

My standby is the Grateful Dead- for longer runs I like to turn off my mind and go on auto pilot, and the Grateful Dead work really well for that.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Good call.

Really any of the jam bands work well for that. GD, DMB, Phish, Widespread Panic, String Cheese Incident.

We bought the entire BEP album on iTunes this time last year (or whenever it came out). I've loved Imma Be from day one. It gets me groovin...as does most of the songs from that album. Definitely money well spent!
