Did anyone see the guy juggling and running a marathon at the same time?
And to finish around 3 hours is amazing. :D

there was an article about them in a newspaper thing that we got - apparently the guy with the red balls had a problem right at the beginning of boston when he got stuck behind a guy in a red shirt - and couldn't see his balls!!

I saw The Joggler on Lakeshore. He's certainly a unique and remarkable athlete!

He was also at Longboat. I am not sure what his time was there, but I am sure it was FAST!

I saw him.

And I heard the TO guy (N... something) interviewed on CBC radio today. If there WAS a second one, it wasn't Zach the record holding joggler guy from the States.

They had a head to head at Boston, where the American set the record at 2:58 and change.

Our TO Joggler beat that yesterday.

Zach e-mailed suggesting a rematch.....

There was an article in the Journal today about that... apparently he set a world record yesterday. Sub 3 while juggling... that's incredible!

Michal Kapral is the Toronto Joggler -- he was going head to head with a young man from Chicago (Google: Zach Warren), who beat his Scotiabank record last spring at Boston. Michal took the record back on Sunday.

We got to see both during the race -- I was surprised actually at (i) how far ahead Michal was, and (ii) what a big guy Zach is. Michal is small and slim, Zach is bulkier and powerful-looking.

It was a treat to see them both. We picked a great spot to cheer, at just the right time. There were some incredible athletes out there on Sunday.

The other joggler had blue balls.

Does that help? ;)

Thanks for the clarifications! Apparently, I didn't listen too well to the interview!! :P

Heather, considering this is how he did the interview after the race, maybe it wasn't you who was confused:

Here he is en route:

I saw them both and have to agree with BG. I couldn't believe how big the "other" joggler was compared to Michael Kapral.

As I understood it, and according to this article on the website, Heather is right: the other joggler wasn't Zach Warren (the man he went head-to-head with at Boston), it was Perry Romanowski of Chicago. (I also checked the results, and Zach Warren isn't listed, Perry is)

I got to see them both! Cooool!

I got to see Kapral on the course... I think I almost tripped myself because I was watching him so intently...

He was also at the finish line being interviewed when I came across... there were microphones and cameras EVERYWHERE! 8)
