| Directions | You can run this trailway from Fergus to Belfountain if you want! The attached map shows it from Fergus to the turnaround for a 21.1km route, but you can turn around anywhere.
You can park at a baseball diamond on Gartshore, then just follow the trail east from the road! You run through some trees, between fields, over the dam at Lake Belwood (it is 5K from Fergus to the far end of the dam), through the park where there are washrooms and a drinking fountain. Then the trail follows County Road 18 (aka the Fergus-Orangeville Road) for a while before turning away from the road. For the best view, look at the hybrid version of the linked map! |
