Running with bad knees

Hello, I just got back from a physical with my doctor and he told me that I should stop running as I have osteoarthritis in my left knee. I'm only 36 years old and I was devastated by the news. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience running with arthritis in the knees, if they have any suggesti...

MB Marathon

What a morning for a run at the MB Marathon - I'm not sure which I prefer, the heat of last year or the rainy mist of today.....

Congrats to everyone here that ran!

Re: Long term swollen ankle

Thank you for the welcome!

So your ankle has been puffy for two years? Is there ever any pain? Mine isn't painful while I run, it just aches sometimes, I'm more worried about the fact that it has been puffy for so long.

Thanks for the responses.

Long term swollen ankle

Hello, I'm hoping someone on here can help because as of now no doctor in Winnipeg has been able to. The inside of my right ankle has been swollen since the Manitoba marathon last June, I thought I had just tweaked it during the run but after a month of not running it hadn't gone down very much so I...
