"On the Road Again..." not quite.....

Postby KaTyBrown » Wed Jan 03, 2007 5:45 pm

yea right!!! NewYear's Eve, hubby had a cold so that cancelled that night:(
Then a week later I got hit with the gastro that has Montreal in a tail-spin. Just now starting to feel that if I eat it will stay down. (they even closed a school here in the city for disinfecting last Friday!)

I went out this morning and did a bit of shovelling the driveway for exercise but broke a sweat so will take it easy for another few days.
It is gorgeous out so will go walking this afternoon.
Have a good week folks!
Safe walking/running.

Yay!!!!

I did my first 2.69km walk today since my injury in August! I dragged my hubby out and guess what....he could not keep up with me! Mind you he has a cold and sore legs so I had to keep slowing down to his speed.
I will be on the road again tomorrow and as long as I feel good, I will keep on walking.......maybe he will keep my company again tomorrow. Wouldn't it be great if he did a 10K walk with me ?? :) Heather would be so proud of us both.

Happy New Year everyone.

Karen
p.s. no problems with the knees so far.

Woohoo! Congrats on being back at it! Just remember to take it easy - build up again gradually.
