I was thinking the same thing. How is your walking going???????
Now that I'm back to running I only seem to walk to and from work, and the odd meeting. More into running. Even managed to place first in the 55-59 age class for women at the Manitoba Runners' Association Asics Grand Prix Series. A nice welcome back I would say.
Hope that you are on the mend and able to get some walks in these days.

Good to read someone is back into high gear - so to speak....
I have not been walking but using my *monster* ellipitcal daily. I am 5"9" and the handles are my height and
might even be a bit taller than me. It is the NordicTrac Commercial 1300. A gift from dear hubby :)
He is also using it and sometimes longer times than me :(
The non-pressure on the heel is great bec as soon as I walk any length of distance my heel really starts
to swell and hurt - so his gift to me is really useful.

Keep up the running - you are an inspiration to us all. Good work!!!!!

Jo-Jo, Heather and I walked the 7.5K route of the Fat A$$ today in Batawa. I posted under Ultras and Trail running -- I probably should have posted the photos link here instead! 8)

I'm still walking to and from work every day...(~ 5 miles round trip)...will be moving in December and the new house is closer so it will be only a 4 mile round trip...

I've been checking the thread and saw no action either...I'm here!

I'm glad that you are able to get in some activity...baby steps right?!
22 halfs (PR 1:42:02) :)
5 full (PR 3:48:21)
...and a smattering of adventure and trail races thrown in for good measure!

You are kidding, right? Walking is all I have been doing for the past three weeks. First time I actually ran again since the Chicago marathon was yesterday.

Fear not. For me personally, I may not be as vocal about my walking as other activities, but it is a vital component of my overall activity.
