I just read your report and have to say that I'm sorry for what happened to you. If I understand correctly, your goal was to walk a HalfM. You know there are many HalfM happening everywhere and that you'll have a chance to tackle another one... but I also know you wanted to complete this one... :(

Karen - I just read your post. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Last year the MB Marathon had crazy hot conditions. All the runners had trained in cool and rainy spring-like temps. No one was ready for the incredible heat and humidity. I had a number of friends that didn't finish the race. The medics worked overtime that day and did an amazing job helping everyone.

Don't worry...you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and go fo it again! We are all here to support you.

Karen
