Hey all.
The Ontario Trail and Ultra Series Spring Warm-up is being held on Saturday April 11, 2015 in Dunedin, Ontario (don't drive to Florida).
Dunedin is near Creemore and the course includes dirt roads and the Bruce Trail. For those not familiar with the Spring Warm-up, it is a fund raiser for the Ontario series and the Grand Prize is free entry into almost all the races! You can sign up for $35 for either the grand prize, or the grand prize and a fun run in Dunedin.
See the OUSer website for further details:

Hey Hezzy.
A map of the course is posted at the Dunedin CC. The course is flagged at intersections on the roads, but you need to follow the blazes on the Bruce Trail. The SW attracts 30 - 50 people, who tend to run in packs, as it is more of a social run than a "race", so you typically won't get lost. There can be snow on parts of the BT, but it gets packed down quickly. Let Doug Barber go ahead of you to pack the trail... He ran it one year in a T-shirt and shorts. I think WGR has video of Doug making a snow angel. Yes, in shorts!
Cheers!

Rehab and some more rehab...
I'd like to do Limberlost 56k in July and whisper goal would be Haliburton 50 miler, but we'll see how the rotten hamstring tendon holds up. I've just gone through two years of pure hell and I'm not completely out of the woods yet. So technically I'm on trails...
Whoever said The hardest thing about running is not running, was bang on.
What's in your race plans for 2015?
