highjack....

I'm thinking a February run.... Winterlude...... I will surely be done by renos by then. You (and Ray) are welcome.... we'll all get together, drink wine, skate, ski, run, show shoe whatever.... and drink good wine!!

Who knows I might not be the third, fifth, seventh, ninth wheel by then...... :)

No boys allowed. If I come to Ottawa for a visit and wine drinking, oh and running, it will be alone! I have always wanted to visit during Winterlude!

Kid-free weekends for me in February are the 5th and the 19th and I read that Winerlude runs from the 5-21 so I am free the first weekend and the last weekend.

I may not be able to follow you on the run, but I'll do my best to take part in the post-run festivities. :D

Only in the summer time! It's not for consumption during the winter! I guess you'll have to come back for a summertime run too Karen!

3 runs in one week! :o

I ran this morning. It was super hard and I didn't do 6:1s, but I still ran 17 minutes of the 18 I was supposed to run, so i'm satisfied. This brings me to 3 runs in one week!

I'm going to the gym in the morning and I will run then.
I'm looking forward to it.

So much pressure!

I went to the gym. I ran. 5 min brisk walk for w/u then ran 1 x 6/1's. It hurt. I got bored. I was going to throw in the towel but my conscience wouldn't let me. I walked the balance of the 30 minutes, BRISKLY. Then I did weights. Some serious weights. I'll rest today and go back again tomorrow.

Who would think I'd be SO excited to run? At 5-freakin'-am? I didn't even sleep that well and I still got up. And I was all snuggly in bed with my kitty. And I still got up!

Sounds like you have more doubt about your accomplishments than we do! Even with all that "mental" fighting going on, you DID it!

My last run was on January 9th. I ran this morning: 4 x 4:2s. My energy levels are still low from my mexican (mis)adventure, so i'm happy I could run so much. :D
