Another new person. :)
I will keep this short and sweet:
I am from Winnipeg. 33 years old. Have been running for 3 years now. To date I have finished two half marathons, a 10K and a few 5Ks. My goal is to run a full marathon next year!
Things to know: I am a vegetarian who is a cheese away from being vegan. (cheese pizza is my downfall) I am a professional photographer and cook. I love running but I know my training needs major work. I thought maybe a community like this would help! So I joined.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here. I also look forward to meeting some WInnipeggers. I run alone a lot and have been seriously thinking about joining a running team (like Road Kill or whomever)
Well, talk to you all soon!

I will definitely throw up some recipes there! Like I said: I love to cook, and will try anything once...as long as it contains no meat, eggs, etc.
Reading that again I probably should not have used the words, "throw up".

Thank you for all the welcomes.
I have been part of a online community before and really enjoyed it. When I found this site (completely by accident) I was very excited! Not only did I find a running community to talk/share/motivate with, but a CANADIAN one to boot! Pretty sweet!
Colour me excited.

Yes. We make lots of great people here. Sometimes they get overcooked, though.
Sorry. Couldn't resist.
Welcome!

Hey, fellow-winnipegger checking in. I am easing back into running, starting off much speedier since I have to outrun the mosquitoes. I have been considering joining a club, or at least going out to the Hashers, but have to wait until my abilities come more in line with the basic standard.
Welcome, welcome!

I was wondering why it was orange, but then I looked up at the logo of the site and it clicked.
Colour me orange, then!

Welcome, welcome!
That is the main reason I found this place: I was looking for a running group in Winnipeg to join. Doing some "googling" on the subject brought me here!
I just got back from a 3 miler and my stretching routine had to be cut a little bit short because of the mosquitoes intent on draining me dry of blood.
Thank you for the welcome (everyone)!
